Visit The North Creek Depot Museum

The Depot Museum is closed for the winter season and will reopen in May 2010.

$2 adult, children and members free.

The museum is located in the heart of historic North Creek, NY.

Parking
Ample free parking is available except when Thomas the Tank Train is here.

The Museum Shop
The Museum Shop is delightful, though relatively small, place to shop for gifts or souvenirs. Museum Shop's hours are the same as the Museum's. Profits from the Museum Shop help support the Museum. The Shop carries a wide variety of gifts, books, postcards and everything in between.

Directions to The North Creek Depot Museum

From the South:

  • Take I-87 North to Exit 23 (Warrensburg).
  • At the end of the exit ramp make a left turn.
  • Go to Route 9 North  Traffic light and make a right turn.
  • Go through Warrensburg on Rt. 9  and make  a left turn onto Rt. 28.
  • Follow signs to North Creek.
  • Turn Right onto Ski Bowl Road and follow signs to Depot.

From the North:

  • Take I-87 (the Northway) to Exit 26 (Pottersville).
  • Follow the Gore Mountain "Trailblazer" signs through Olmsteadville.
  • Then left on Route 28N to North Creek.
  • Make a right turn onto Main Street in North Creek (first stop sign after you cross the Hudson River).
  • Turn Right onto Ski Bowl Road and follow signs to Depot.

From the West:

  • Take I-90 (NYS Thruway) east to Utica.
  • Take Route 8 North from Utica to Bakers Mills.
  • Make a left onto Peaceful Valley Road.
  • Take Peaceful Valley Road to Route 28.
  • Make a left onto Route 28.
  • Take Route 28 to Ski Bowl Road.
  • Turn Right onto Ski Bowl Road and follow signs to Depot.
